nvidia drivers, widget redraw issues

with any of the proprietary nvidia drivers from 270 and up apps such as vim, every qt app and libreoffice before 3.4 have
had issues with redrawing the contents of a widget.
Any action that forces the entire window to redraw such as moving the window will make these corruptions disappear.

the redrawing issues appear like this in vim.

the same issue with a qt app, but less noticeable.

So i was wondering if anyone else has these issues and has been able to fix it.
