I just updatet with pacman -Syu and got rawtherapee-4.0.0-1 from the community-repo. But RawTherapee, a very nice Raw-Converter, just has released in Version 3.0.0. Source: http://www.rawtherapee.com/
Is this a bug?

that the development version
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

4.0 is a Nightly (Development) Release http://rawtherapee.com/downloads
Why are we using it instead of the stable version - I don't know.

Well it's in [community].

The commit http://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/ … 11249b7f4f doesn't provide an explanation, so we'll have to wait for the maintainer to enlighten us.

Sorry, but I didn't understand your post. Do you want to say that I should do the bug-report? If so, am I allowed to do it?

I think wonder's post meant "Please file a bug report". Yes, you are allowed.
The bug gets assigned to the maintainer who otherwise might not respond to your question.

I have to say that was my first bug report ever. So I actually I don't really know, whether I did it right, because I dont know how to select Packages:Community like it is described in the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Re … Guidelines), but I hope it will be ok this way. The bug-report can be found here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/25422

You reported it in the wrong category.
http://www.archlinux.org/packages/commu … wtherapee/ on the top right hand side you have a box labeled 'Package Actions' - 'Report a Bug' is one of them.
It's Ok, your bug reported will be moved to the correct category, no need to open another one :-)
