Linux Kernel 3.0 PKGBUILD

Hi people,
as we don't have the Linux Kernel 3.0 in the ABS (I guess it'll be available next week), I made some changes in the kernel26 files that we get from ABS.
I'm posting it here and hope you use and correct it where necessary.

It worked well for me.

Cheers!

Re: Linux Kernel 3.0 PKGBUILD

Right, I should have read the ABS wiki completely before posting it.

I'm going to compile again with the provided patches (fix-i915 and change-default-console-loglevel).

Thanks! smile

Re: Linux Kernel 3.0 PKGBUILD

Hi again,
here is the link to download the files (PKGBUILD, linux.preset and linux.install) that I got from ABS testing. I made some changes to correct minor questions.

Re: Linux Kernel 3.0 PKGBUILD

Stock linux PKGBUILD needs manual renaming of .install and .preset files if you use a custom kernel name, this is new behaviour.

Not a problem I guess, just new.
