Libreoffice Fail to Load

Hey everyone, I just recently downloaded Libreoffice, and I'm trying to start the writer.

Error when starting libreoffice:

[Java framework] Error in function createSettingsDocument (elements.cxx).
javaldx failed!
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::uno::RuntimeException'
Application Error%

When I type that it, the launcher also appears for a short amount of time then closes almost immediately.

Other Information: I also removed libgl so I could install Nvidia drivers.

Which java package - openjdk or jre - have you installed and what version?
Post the output of 'pacman -Qs libreoffice'.

Re: Libreoffice Fail to Load

In the first link, what does it mean by 'rename the user profile'. Do I have to change the name of my current user?

Do you have a folder named ~/.openoffice.org ? Rename it to e.g. ~/.openoffice.org2.

Re: Libreoffice Fail to Load

Just for the record: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Li … work_Error
So it's mostly the same as suggested in http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/ … =16&t=2927 (last post)

Please mark as solved.
