When I want to start a program that is not on my favourite list, I press Alt-F1 and the right arrow to get the Applications tab. Then I press arrow down and choose the category, and then Alt+right arrow to open the menu for the category and arrow down to choose the program, and I launch it by pressing Return. It takes forever to describe it, but it's lightening fast when I know where the program is.
In KDE 4.7 I can no longer choose category with arrow down or up, as I used to before upgrading. Is this another new "feature" of KDE 4.7 ? How can I reactivate navigating the programs menu with the keyboard ?
