[SOLVED] Installation of syslog-ng fails: libwrap.so.0 missing !

Hello,

after I updated my system today I realized that the syslogger was not working anymore.
So I installed syslog-ng again, but it fails to start complaining about the missing shared library 'libwrap.so.0'.
I am not sure - but as much as I realized from what I was reading is that this library was part of the tcp_wrappers package which is no longer used under Archlinux, is that right ?

I just solved the problem with a forced new installation:

 pacman -Sf syslog-ng 

Its really strange that my system behaves like this - but there seem to be a lot of outdated packages on my system that do not update themselves
