Can't get Atheros USB wifi running

Hi

Running lsusb tells me I have a:

"Atheros Communications, Inc. TP-Link TL-WN821N v2 [Atheros AR9001U-(2)NG]"

usb wifi dongle.  I have been going the wireless entry on the wiki.  I'm not getting anywhere with it though.  It is asking me to install something called "madwifi".  However Pacman can't find it:

"error: target not found: madwifi"

The rest of the wiki, in dealing with ath5k/ath9k, isn't making much sense to me.  Can someone maybe point me in the right direction as I'm lost!

Need to know any info I'm happy to provide.

Cheers

carl9170 is the driver to use with that thing. The Arch kernel has it. So there shouldn't actually be anything special you need to do.

Re: Can't get Atheros USB wifi running

Mine broke again last upgrade.  I never heard of carl9170.  I am not sure why the developers feel the need to change this 5 times every month, or why they never seem to get it right.  Is this what I should be using?  Should my profanity be directed at some named Carl?

Still no luck.  Had to manually update the firmware, no modules they said to blacklist are loaded.  Help!
