Hello,
I need to create a track composed with many different audio samples according to some mathimatical formula.
To do this by hand will be tedious so I'm looking for some sort of scriptable audio sequencer.
Does anybody know if such a thing exists? Google could not help me.
thx
Edit: I just thought, it doesn't need to be scriptable, I just need some ASCII format, I can generate the file myself using any language I wish.

Not sure I get it, but maybe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Csound ?
EditL Do you mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algorithmic_composition ?

Thank you, but my needs are very simple:
What I need is something like this:
instr start end
1 0 20
2 10 30
3 20 40
4 30 50
So I bit like Csound score files, but then for prerecorded samples. I hope there is some program that can turn such a plain text file into an audio file.

To answer myself, (for future reference)
You can use samples in csound, so I can use that.
Thanks Karol
