[SOLVED]Burg Manager

hey guys

i tried installing the burg manager from the AUR using yaourt, the install went fine. and its in my menu, but when i start it nothing happens

so i tried in the terminal

and i get this

burg-manager
No protocol specified

(zenity:2650): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0
No protocol specified
buc: cannot connect to X server :0

ok... so tell me exactly where burg-manager fails, how you invoke it, what windows if anything appears (e.g. can you see the enter password box?)

try the following, run the above test command in the same terminal as burg-manager and see if it gives the same errors as burg-manager

when i start the burg manager i get the root password screen, i input my pw, and then it just loads on the taskbar constantly, and no window appears with the options/menus

i tried burg after doing that command and now i get this

[nankura@myhost ~]$ burg-manager
Password: No protocol specified
buc: cannot connect to X server :0

at the least the GTK warnings gone

managed to solve the issue myself by using "DISPLAY XAUTHORITY" in the sudoers file
