[SOLVED]which bt tracker daemon is used at tracker.archlinux.org:6969?

Hello,

I'm seeding arch (along with a bunch of other free software and media).

The bittorrent client here is transmission daemon from [extra].

On some trackers everything works great, on others I'm getting errors, like this one from tracker.archlinux.org :

Announce error: Tracker gave HTTP response code 0 (No Response) - Today 04:21:31 PM

Whereas the tracker at bakabt never returns this error (hey, i'm seeding some important stuff here 8-)

So I'm asking each of the sites that I use: what tracker software they're running; in an effort to gather data and resolve this issue with transmission upstream.

Personally I still think bt or other p2p is the future of free software distribution, so thanks for making arch available by torrent!

As I understand it, Arch uses the opentracker:

On transmissiond bittorent client I've been seeing an almost continuous error:

Announce error: Tracker gave HTTP response code 0 (No Response)

At the moment there are over 200 seeders, so perhaps the tracker isn't responding because it doesn't need additional seeds?

Anyway, this gives an error which obscures the tracker and torrent stats for me (in the client I'm using), so I'd like to understand why opentorent doesn't respond.

This is an ongoing investigation for me.
