Depends. AE might work over WINE, check the wine db. If you just need simple video editing, try pitivi or openshot. I'm not to sure about professional editing though.

You'd need to specify what you want to do. Video-editing in Linux is a bit of a mess, but you can generally find something or other that works for what you want to do. Blender is at the complicated end, cinerella/open movie editor are two other possibilities.
