Pacman.conf degraded in Raid array(Solved)

In my raid installed archlinux pacman.conf is degraded and cannot be read .

I wish to replace that file with a good file from my HDD archlinux by copy and paste.

What are the consequences of providing this fix upon the raid array?

Do I follow the copy and paste with ...e2fsck...to re-establish the raid system?

Is there any other way to correct pacman.conf in the raid array?  Pacman cannot perform any functions with this degraded condition.

EDIT:  Forgot in my old age to include the pertinent info!  x86_64 and the raid array is raid0 with 5 devices using bootable partition in one device to boot.

EDIT:  Again more info....raid0 is kernel26 v 39 and the HDD similar kernel26 v 39.

A RAID0 with 5 devices is quite dangerous.  Lose one and lose all.

You can get a new default config file from the stock pacman package.

I am aware and have it active with 306MB/s read speed.  Only problem is pacman.conf....

EDIT:Devices are Compact Flash and not expected to fail as often as HDD...besides no seek time in CF

Mounted raid array in HDD boot, changed pacman.conf to ..old....and copied HDD pacman.conf into the raid array.

This permitted pacman to downlgrade kdenlive and enable that program to run.

Problem solved.
