I agree with sweiss, I think it is very nice to see how different users have different desktops so I  can see how nice  a desktop may look like and maybe create something like it...or change my wm..:D

I switched to twinview(xinerama), so here are my new July screenshots.
I figured 2560x1024 might be a bit of an overkill, so I scaled them down (uncut is available too tongue).

And I hope no one is offended by that big Gentoo wallpaper, haven't had time to replace it yet. wink

iBertus: its tenebrific for gtk2, i found it here http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2/712 and made a few changes so i could use the gorilla icons with it. then i got rid of xfwm4 because i couldn't find any themes i liked. the metacity theme is graphitebox i got it from gnome-look.org

I just loved to play that game years ago. And the graphics looked this way.
But the where actually all in 640x480 or even lower resolution. Sa mabe someone made a picture inspired by it. Who knows.
