seems like some CRLF line terminators got stuck in there (identified by ^M and $'\r')
you could just do something like:

wget -qO- "http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=1BEFDbZB" | tr -d '\r' > colorspacman && chmod +x colorspacman && ./colorspacman

AwesomeWM (using it for 2 years now, great WM)
+ 'full' zenburn (vim, vimperator, ncmpcpp, mutt, gnome, etc.)
+ slightly customized version of awesompd (https://github.com/alexander-yakushev/awesompd) (color indicating whether playing or paused, togglable notifications,coverart)
+ vicious widgets (http://git.sysphere.org/vicious/) (my base config was very much inspired by anrxc, thanks to him!)
+ the "cv" command you see in the term is cdargs, bookmarking in the console
+ prompt with git info if available
+ bottom of screen : dmenu (to launch apps)

Some configs are on github: https://github.com/raphaelfournier, ask for more.

The tray icons are AwesomeWM's default setup for them... but the configurations related to this setup are Here.
