[Solved] /sbin/ifconfig not found

Hi there,

I recently installed arch on my new homeserver with archboot. Now there is no ifconfig command installed.

/sbin/ifconfig  does not exist

I know, I can manage my interfaces with ip, I just wounder why this command is missing?

Re: [Solved] /sbin/ifconfig not found

pacman -S net-tools

..wonder why it's not part of the base group?

didn't realize ifconfig was in that group.  So what util replaces it that is included in the base group?
