Hello,
I started using Twinview with a Nvidia graphics card + proprietary driver and Gnome 3 and I somehow got managed to have my notbook screen as primary screen and the panel in the right place (after trying different settings because Nvidia seemed to prefer my external screen as primary). But when I startup my pc, gdm's login window appears on the external screen which I set up as secondary.. Does anyone know how to change that?
Thanks

Bump.

Its because of the way GDM determines where the dialogue appears. If you move the mouse quickly to the top left before GDM draws it will appear correctly. You can also move the mouse to the left and then press enter and it will redraw on the right screen. Gnome devs put the mouse down in the bottom right of the screen when it starts and have the gdm dialogue follow the mouse. No way to change it that I am aware of.

Not really satisfying, but thanks..

Check out the nvidia documentation, in particular the TwinViewXineramaInfoOrder option.

Thanks, but this didn't help either, as the correct screen already is recognized as primary.. only thing that makes problems is gdm.
EDIT: This is solved with the new update!
