Firefox 4.0.1 isn't tiling on one of my machines with vanilla dwm 5.8.2. On the other machine - same setup - it's working as expected.
Anyone knows how to fix this? Some xorg-* package(s) missing?

dwm has a couple settings - tiling is just one of them. Maybe you have switched it to monocle or floating.

Firefox (it's the same with Thunderbird) stays in the foreground all the time. For example, if there is a pop-up it's hidden behind Firefox. dwm's status bar is overlaid either.

I recall someone had the same issue, but to me it sounds like you've got floating instead of tiling.

No, it's definitely a bug. I use Vimperator, so probably a issue with dwm & Firefox + Vimperator. I can't reproduce it anymore, probably I have installed some more packages solving the problem..
