[Solved] KDE 4.7 Systray crashing Plasma-Desktop

Ok so ive only seen one person complain about it so far and im surprised it hasn't happened to anyone else. I emailed him and he still hasn't got it working. What makes us two so special i wonder? Anyway the bug is simple, adding they systray applet to a panel crashes Plasma-Desktop. A few peeps in the 4.7 thread suggested a few things to try ( Adding new user, Deleting .kde4 folder) and none of these worked so im out of ideas. If there's anything else that i can try, please let me know.

Im running latest kernel/KDE 4.7 on a 64 bit system with catalyst drivers. There is only one post on this matter in the 4.7 thread here

Please post the link to the other thread about this issue. Can you tell us more about your setup: bare metal or some kind of visualization, 32 or 64-bit, what kind of graphics card etc.
Have you checked upstream?
