[SOLVED] Any problem with the server now?

I installed the latest arch linux in vbox
When I use
# pacman -Syu virtualbox-archlinux-additions,    as instructed in the wiki, I meet the following errors:
error: failed retrieving file 'core.db' from mirrors.kernel.org': No address record
....................................'extra.db'..............................................................
.....................................community.db'....................................................

I changed some mirrors and tried again, and got the  same error.
Who can tell me whether I did something wrong or the server is not ok now

the problem was arch didn't recognize my internet connection....
