[SOLVED] Hide gnome 3 desktop icons

Hi guys,

I've just installed Gnome 3 and I'm trying things out right now. Everything seems ok for now, but there's one little thing bugging me.

How do I hide the desktop icons? I've used the tweak tool to hide the Computer and Trash icons, but there's no option to hide mounted volumes. I tried looking for similar settings in gconf-editor to no avail.

Does anybody have a pointer on where I should start?

Open "dconf-editor".
Then go to "org-> gnome-> nautilus-> desktop"
Uncheck the box that says "volumes-visible".

I do not use gnome-shell but in fallback mode it works. I do not see why it wouldn't in shell.
