The volume label still shows up in the KDE icon here... system is up to date.
ivman is also installed, but not running (mainly because I'm not goot at editing xml files), so this shouldn't change a thing.

Add that kdebase 3.4.1-4 was released today, not tested yet if the removable devices HAL-related bug is fixed.

Yes JGC did a great job, now it works perfect, i sent the patch to kde developers perhaps they include it for 3.4 branch who knows
