Hey guys, i am using lxde this days, but i am getting some error messages when i try to copy a 3.3gb file from my USB Flash to my home folder, the message is this:
error splicing file: Input/output error
Any solution?

I'm not an expert, but the things that come to mind immediately to check:
Have you tried using the USB with a different computer to make sure it works
Check to make sure your computer isn't turning off the usb ports as part of an energy saving setting
Have you attempted to download it as root instead of as a user
These are the things I would try to do to see if I could at least get it to work. Once I knew it can work, I would start looking at permission issues.
I hope someone else who knows more than me will pop in here with better help.
