A more than cursory search across the web shows a small handful of .stumpwmrc files tweaked to Notify/Alert/Echo/Something any time their is an urgent window. None of them seem to work. Even asking on #stumpwm on freenode has proven fruitless, and the stumpwm API just isn't documented well enough.
This one, http://www.mygooglest.com/fni/stumpwm.html, at least generates a stumpwm error that presents a map to abort, continue, or "go to the top". So, now, at least when I get that error map, I know someone has IM'ed me in my weechat in another group, for instance.
It would be much nicer to see, I don't know... "Urgent window [window] on [group]" or even "You have a new message from [someone]" echo in the usual stumpwm fashion.
Any clues?

What is the error message ?
I think you get an error because the 'message-no-timeout' function seems to not be defined. You should try using the classic 'message' function.
