Hi,
I'm on a fully updated Arch_64/KDE with Skype 2.2.0.35 installed and configured to use the Pulse audio (set to 75% level) and disabled the (Skype) auto adjustment of audio mixer levels.
Yet when trying to call the echo123 service, I hear the message very scattered with several echos.
The speaker is set at mid volume and connected to the on-board audio (not to the audio of the the graphic card).
My relevant configuration:
grep Audio
00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) (rev 40)
01:00.1 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc Redwood HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 5600 Series]
Please advise!
Thanks

If you're using the multilib skype package, you also need to install lib32-libpulse to get Skype work with PulseAudio.

Thanks, but lib32-libpulse had already been installed on my PC.
Any other ideas?

Do you hear the audio also scattered if you only test the sound output? (not with echo-Service but in the settings menu?)

Yes, but, as expected, no echo.
