Hi, I just installed an Arch with KDE (with testing repo). I did my usual installation, kdebase-workspace, fonts, nvidia etc.. But I've missed something I guess.
Check the screenshot. It looks weird, nothing inside a checkbox even if it's checked for example. Fonts are not good and the lines are so big. I couldn't understand what's going on. I had the same packages on the netbook and it's fine.
I couldn't find anything useful in the .xsession-errors file also.

Ideas? Need some logs or more info? Thanks for helping btw.
#EDIT: Yep. It's because of harddisk failure. Somehow there are lots of IO errors and gtk applications made whole X crash. Like I said, weird. Thanks anyway, It's good to have a place to ask
