[SOLVED] Pacman: slow sync with dlink dsl-2740b

Hi guys,
I've a very strange problem.
My pacman very slow when sync database with this router: dlink dsl-2740b.
That's not a pacman issue, but I hope you can tell me some option that I should modify into my router settings.
I'm using pacman 3.5.1 and I can't upgrade it.
I'm experiencing another issue: akregator slow fetch... only it, thunderbird fetch normally.
I hope this could help.

Obviously I've already tryed to change mirror in mirrorlist.

Have you tried running "--debug" with pacman and evaluating the content?

it freeze at:

stay a lot of time, more than a minute, and after that it give me the error.
At the third attempt pacman manage to sync.

The same for the other repo...

What is the content of your mirrors.list? You are getting an error from the mirror being mentioned. Have you tried switching to a different mirror? You can get a new up to date mirror list here:

I'm not sure what you have been doing with your mirror.list, but the error is definitely pointing to a problematic mirror. the ftp.mirrors.kernel.org is one of the mirrors listed as having an error and the http://mirrors.kernel.org is listed as being out of sync. You can see it here:

Why don't you post your mirror.list and I'll have a look at it.

I don't think this is a mirror problem, because using other connection, and other router I don't have this problem...

Well, it is sort of a mirror problem. Simply uncovering the mirrors for those regions from the generic mirror.list is not the best way to crate a mirror list. Pacman is going to start with the first mirror on the list and work its way down. I can guarantee that you will almost never reach any of the Switzerland mirrors, even if they were the best ones. Here is a list of good mirrors, using your same list of countries (btw, you only need 5-10 mirrors uncommented. Anymore than that is not doing anything for you.):

This is a list of the ten best mirrors from those four countries. You will want to update this list every once in a while with a new output from the mirrorlist generator that is linked on the homepage.

However, you seem to be having another problem, namely, pacman is listing a mirror that is not even uncommented on your list. Could you post the contents of your pacman.conf file as well. There may be a bad mirror listed there that is preceding your mirror list.
