Synergy and Gnome 3 / GTK3 applications do not work together

Hi,

is anyone here using synergy to share keyboard/mouse where at least one of client or server is using Gnome 3 / GTK3 applications? I am asking because of this: http://synergy-foss.org/pm/issues/2958

I'm using AwesomeWM and only a few Gnome 3 / GTK3 apps, and essentially when a Gnome 3 / GTK3 app is touching the side of the screen, it is not possible to move the mouse over to an adjacent screen, which usually works fine with synergy. If there is no Gnome 3 / GTK3 in the foreground, it works just as expected.

This problem didn't bother me much in the past, however, since the introduction of roxterm 2 (my preferred terminal emulator), which is using GTK3, this is becoming very bothersome.

On the other hand, I have people tell me who are using gnome-shell that they don't have a problem with synergy. So my question is, is there anyone who either has this problem as well or who doesn't have this problem despite using Gnome 3 apps?

Thanks,
m.
