Hello everybody,
I just upgraded my system yesterday (64 bits version of archlinux) and now I cannot run skype, getting the following error:
skype: error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
What can I do about it?
This info may help:
ls /opt/lib32/lib | grep libbz2
libbz2.so
libbz2.so.1
libbz2.so.1.0
libbz2.so.1.0.4
Hence I have the libraries installed
Thank you in advance,

we don't have any lib32 stuff in /opt. i suggest to enable multilib repo and do pacman -Syu
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Actually, the skype version installed comes from the multilib repos. If I do ls in /lib I also get these libraries.

reinstall lib32-bzip2, maybe you have an old version

neofax noticed that the repo named archstuff also lists a version of lib32-bzip2:
pacman -Ss lib32-bzip2
archstuff/lib32-bzip2 1.0.5-5 (lib32)
multilib/lib32-bzip2 1.0.6-1
reinstalling it explicitly from the multilib repo will correct this error.
pacman -S multilib/lib32-bzip2

@kisvoros tell the maintainer of that repo to drop it
