Pekwm and Xinerama

Is it possible to enable Xinerama in the pekwm package ?

Re: Pekwm and Xinerama

no it's not, why should be obvious in the PKGBUILD tongue

./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --enable-shape
      --disable-xft --disable-xinerama --disable-debug --enable-menus
      --enable-keygrabber --enable-harbour --disable-pcr

Re: Pekwm and Xinerama

You need to enable it in the PKGBUILD and build using the abs system.

Re: Pekwm and Xinerama

kth5: This is the user's first post. I doubt he's had a lot of experience with abs or makepkg.

pix: Check the wiki for information on how you can build the package using abs. Remove the option as kth5 and kipper said.

maybe there was a bug in older versions of it that broke the software or something. would be best to ask pekwm's maintainer for a reason.

Re: Pekwm and Xinerama

i've heard xinerama is buggy in pekwm ... no harm in trying it, though.

Re: Pekwm and Xinerama

As paranoos said, xinerama seemed a little buggy in older versions.

Did you have any luck rebuilding pekwm using abs?
