You are not logged in.
When I boot up, I see the usual startup messages (starting udev... mounting f/s... starting services... etc) and then the screen clears before I get the login prompt.
When I originally installed Arch, I removed /etc/issue because I saw no need for it but as of yesterday something is doing it again.
Any idea what it is?
The last thing I start from rc.conf is fbcondecor (which is correct)... if I add a 'sleep 10' to /etc/rc.local, the bootup does sleep for 10 seconds before clearing
To prove I'm not typoing something:
# ls -l /etc/issue
ls: cannot access /etc/issue: No such file or directory

Because of the changed behavior of "agetty" I changed the wiki page Disable Clearing of Boot Messages.
