CD not boot

I burned the CD image, and it says: DISK BOOT FAILTURE. INSERT SYSTEM DISC. ... , and Ubuntu cant read the CD too.  Why?  (I have the Phoenix BIOS, Sorry for my very very bad english)

Did you verify that the .iso/.img is good with the md5sum tool?  Re-burn it after checking that the image is good (see previous sentence)?

I got this today, and yes the md5sums matched.  I downloaded the archlinux-2011.08.19-netinstall-x86_64.iso

Burn it at slower speed. Most common solution.

Maybe the there is something wrong with the iso file or the way you used to burn is wrong .

cdrecord -v dev=/dev/sr0 src.iso

Is that how you are doing it?  How exactly are you burning the image?
