I'm playing around with different combinations of fonts.
Will make pickyfont support profiles, so you can set normal, bold, italic fonts all in one go.
If anyone have tips on such a combination that looks good, please shout.

The XFCE panel is an independent package; you can install it, and just autostart it in Openbox.

Time for something else than all those tilers Here's my Compiz standalone, with AWN dock:

Switched to PCManFM instead of Nautilus, lighter and it handles iPods!

The only thing I miss is the ability to add a global menu to AWN

Better yet, check out the artist's DeviantArt page. He's got a lot of computer game 'remixes' as wallpapers.

I actually downloaded to begin with because I thought it looked like a very cool rendition of Frodo's encounter with Shelob.
