USB = 100% CPU
any idea why my CPU is running at 100% when I ma transferring data onto my iPod via USB2 ?

hmmm, you doing it as root or something? what process hits 100%, gtkpod?

gtkpod does yes.
CPU is also at 100% when i copy some files onto the iPod sing a pasic cp/mv command.
