[Solved]Kde no daemons at startup and freeze

Hi, i recently upgraded to  kde 4.7.1 hopping to solve my problem, but the problem remains. Although the daemons are loaded during the boot process, they are not displayed in the panel always. I cant even shutdown my pc with the traditional way( i think this is kdm fault). After the last pacman -Syu it became even worse. Kde sometime freezes and i need to press the reset button to restart. Here is my daemon list DAEMONS=(syslog-ng !network netfs crond hal alsa wicd kdm). I need HELP!

I think i found the problem. I replaced the kdm daemon with the gdm and solved the problem for the moment

Re: [Solved]Kde no daemons at startup and freeze

you should install dbus and add it to your daemon list and remove hal... (hal is deprecated)
and check your kdmrc there should be a new file kdmrc.pacnew
