[Solved] Failed retrieving file from mirror.cse.iitk.ac.in

Hi,

While installing awesome window manager,

I get the error saying failed retrieving file lua-5.1.4....x86_64.pkg.tar.xz from mirror.cse.iitk.ac.in. Is there a problem with this mirror? I tried using mirrors in China and Canada too by editing the file /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.

It still doesn't work.

Kindly help.

You can check for yourself http://www.archlinux.org/mirrors/status/ or simply grab a fresh mirrorlist http://www.archlinux.org/mirrorlist/ and try updating again.

Edit: lua package got updated yesterday, so either you haven't run 'pacman -Syu' and you have an out of date sync database, or maybe the mirror you're using haven't synced yet.

It was the former I had an out-of-sync database.
