[SOLVED] Empathy and Epiphany not connecting.

I'm running Gnome 3 and using network manager. Empathy will not connect to any of my accounts. At first I thought this was just a problem with Empathy, but then I noticed Epiphany will not load any websites. I tested firefox, chromium, gpodder, and pacman and all of these programs are connecting successfully to the internet and doing their jobs. Any ideas?

Changing my network proxy from "automatic" to "none" did the trick. Thanks!
