can't start X server on Acer 4741G

hi archers,
I tried setting up Xorg on my  netbook and I got the following errors:

   fatal server error：
   Server is already active for display 0
   if this server is no longer running ：remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again

   xinit:unable to connect to the X server:connection refused
   xinit:server error

CPU:i5-480m
GPU:intel HD graphics and nvidia gt540m.
i have installed  the intel video card driver and updateed.
next,how should i do?

i guess the issue maybe is the nvidia graphics card,the gt540m graphics card which with the nvidia optimus.
could someone tell me,how to solved the nvidia optimus issue?

Are you running two X servers? If not, have you tried removing /tmp/.X0-lock?

i had removing the  /tmp/.X0-lock and restarted  X,however, i got the same error

Have you tried disabling one of the video cards in the BIOS?

Maybe Xorg is trying to use nouveau for your Nvidia card. Add "blacklist nouveau" to /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.
