I have installed vlc, mplayer, and mozplugger-chromium (I also tried Totem on a different PC) but no matter what, I am not able to play any videos through Chromium...
What am i missing?
Regards,
BTJ

Yes, tried that as well...
The problem is that I am not sure which format this is, but none of the places I happends to watch any videos do work... And the strange thing, is that the same plugins works ok when using Firefox...

totem-plugin works for sure, the others might not due to Chromium's sandbox.

I just went to look at the sites and did a more thorough look and it seems that all of them I thought where video format were indeed flash and I was bitten by the bug that I can not show flash on my second display; I have to start Chromium on my primary display for flash to work... :-|
Sorry about that.... (A)

I'm using Chromium with Arch 64 bits and i can see flash video on my second display... (i'm currently running the 64 bit version of the flash plugin, but it was the same with the 32 bit version).

@jaco,
Are you able to view flash in fullscreen that covers the whole second screen?
Just tried with some Youtube and newspapers video and, yes, it works... With Dailymotion, there's a problem as the fullscreen is hidden behind the browser...

Which window manager and which flash version are you using?
Regards
Gnome 3 (but it's ok with KDE too) and the 64 bits flashplugin-prelease from Aur.

Maybe that's the reason it's working for you; I am using the 32 bits version of the flash plugin....

With Chromium (and FF), the 32 bits version used to start a process (when i launched flash pages) without killing it (when i closed these pages). I don't remember the name of this process, but this problem is gone since i use the 64 bits version...

Ok, installed the 64 bits version and no more problem on secondary screen... But the reason I installed the 32 bits version, was that after show a page with flash for a day, it would stop that page from showing anymore.. I had to restart Chromium to get the page working again...
Not sure if the version I installed is a newer version than I had before....
