Just got an ATi Radeon HD 4670 with three video outputs for my triple head setup at work! ... and it can only drive two outputs at once ... disappointing! Before I repeatedly try hunting down a good card, what's something in the $50-ish range that can drive three displays? It doesn't have to be fancy or have good 3D support. I'd prefer three digital outputs, but I can deal with two digital and one VGA out too. Oh, and I don't care if I'm using ATi/AMD or nVidia, or binary or OSS drivers.

Look for Eyefinity. I believe all Radeon HD5xxx cards have it.

look at sapphire flex cards (but little more expensive ~100$) and this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=124144

Just got an AMD 5450 and it only supports two monitors at the same time.

Also, the review unit ATI sent, lacking the DisplayPort connector found on all other recent ATI graphics cards, doesn't technically provide the triple-monitor Eyefinity support that's thus far been found in all other 5000-series graphics cards the company has announced. But ATI says that there will be DisplayPort-equipped Radeon HD 5450 cards available for sale that will support three monitors. So if you plan on connecting more than two displays, be on the lookout for a Radeon HD 5450 with that specifically supports Eyefinity.

Ugh, the 2D performance of this guy is just dismal. I think nVidia would be the best way to go at this point. Any idea for a triple-head nVidia?
