Thumbnails not working in XFCE (I did extensive search in Google)

I'm new to Arch linux and I have to say that I like it since it's MUCH faster than Ubuntu. But I have a problem, I can't seem to make thumbnails work in Thunar, I tried to search for solutions in google but to no avail.

I have these packages installed:

thunar
ffmpeg thumnailer
thunar-archive-plugin
thunar-media-tags-plugin
thunar-thumbnailers
thunar-volman

And the thing I don't understand is that I don't have "thunar-vfs-update-thumbnailers-cache-1"... is it depricated?

Thanks for your help and I hope I will stay in the community as long as I can.

I installed tumbler and ffmpeg thumnailer but it cannot render video thumbnails.

Have you restarted XFCE after you installed tumbler and ffmpegthumbnailer?
I had the problem, too, that it wasn't showing video thumbs after installing ffmpeg. Didn't look into it, because I didn't care that much about it, but suddenly later that day, it worked. And if i remember correctly, I started a new XFCE session (or even completly rebooted, dunno).

Unfortunately, I've just installed arch linux therefore I don't have the earlier version in the cache.

Man... I'm liking Arch Linux each minute! So much control! It's now my default OS.

When I have time, I'll try ARM and will post the results.

Dowgrading Tumbler to version 0.1.21-3 fixed the issue. We should report this bug.

I tried to rebuild tumbler using ABS and it worked, but only on some files.
