I have a problem with Samba
If I copy a large file to my Arch computer then Samba uses swap space. I can see the memory buffers rising and when the memory buffers are at max samba start using the swap. And then the speed goes up and down
I think this is related to kernel 3.0 because I saw this when I was running Debian testing. When running kernel 2.39 under Debian all was fine, but when running kernel 3.0 the swap file was used.
On my Arch server am running the latest kernel
Anyone who can help?

I have now tried using the LTS kernel (2.6.32-lts). And with that I dont get any swap usage.
Is there really no one else having this problem?
