I'm quite sure he started building rc1, so there's a mixture of beta and rc tarballs at the moment which will likely cause a non-functional gnome.

I have exactly the same question. I think the packages will be in [extra] soon.

Same here. And I cannot find any bug report related to this issue.

Try to do a bug report here : http://bugzilla.gnome.org/simple-bug-gu … roduct=gdm and paste bug number here if you see it using gdm 3.2 when @wonder posted it on gnome-unstable repo.

Re: GNOME 3.2 beta2 available in gnome-unstable

I've got the same problem on my desktop-pc (login with "Enter" works on my laptop) but gdm also shows me strange layout settings there: http://i.imgur.com/OADQ0.jpg ...although i'm using a German keyboard layout (and it works good in gnome itself). Maybe some kind of localization problem?

I can barely control myself. The up-to-date GnomeShell is one of the main reasons to use Arch... That and the awesomeness of the distro... ;]
Keep up the good work man!

Out of curiosity, what video cards are in each of those computers, and what version of the X server?

Re: GNOME 3.2 beta2 available in gnome-unstable

Both are using xorg-server 1.10.4-1.
Laptop: Intel GMA 4500MHD
Desktop: GeForce GTS 250

On the desktop-pc I upgraded from Gnome 2, the laptop has a "clean" installation of 3.x...

/edit: The 3.2-update solved this issue. smile
