installing a different kernel

Hi there.  I just recently switched from Ubuntu to try Arch.  COuld someone please tell me how to go about installing a 2.6 SMP kernel? From teh package list on the arch website, i don't see any SMP kernels available.  Thanks.

Re: installing a different kernel

Actually, you could enable each little option available in the kernel, and it would run.

The kernel just probes your hardware, and only launches drivers you need.
