usb at boot

hi to everybody,

i have a strange issue:

if i power on my pc with already plugged in my usb memory, archlinux doesn't see it !!!

instead bios, see it normally, infact it lists my memory in the boot option.....

how can i solve it ?

yes, checked with:
- lsusb
- gparted
- palimpsest

EDIT: and also tested with another distro (system rescue cd 2.3.0) : with USB plugged in before power no the PC, sysresccd sees it correctly......

When you write "usb memory", you mean a flash memory stick or a memory card, correct?

Try

$ dmesg | grep -i usb

perhaps is an usb memory issue because another usb memory works.... but now i haven't enough time to test it.....
