If fallback data is not included in grub, does this cause system failure to boot in Arch Linux boot prompt? ( no fallback option therein)

Your question is unclear to me.
You mean the fallback kernel cpio?

The boot prompt appears when booting the system and lists both ArchLinux and Archlinux-Fallback as boot options.
If the Archlinux-fallback is not listed..is there any problem in booting into archlinux?

Nope…AFAIK the "Fallback" entry is there for when your "normal" kernel+initrd fails for whatever reason; it's a lowest-common-denominator in case of disaster.
…at least, I think. I've never had to use it before, but that's my impression. The point I'm trying to make is that the fallback image isn't absolutely necessary, but it's nice to have, just in case.

Reason why I ask is that mkinitcpio runs its full program regardless of whether fallback is an option or not so that it begs the question.
