Hi,
I have 3 annoying problems with the 3.2 version of Gnome (in Gnome 3.0, everything was working great).
1) It seems to have a problem with Empathy and libwebkit : when i set an adium theme in Empathy, it segfaults. [Bug reported]
2) With many games, my screen is flickering and flashing several times per second. It occurs only when games are launched in fullscreen, everything is normal in windowsed mode.
3) When I exit a game, often the display freeze, and my only solution is to reboot my computer. Again, this bug occur only with games in fullscreen.
With 2) and 3), I have many lines like this in my Xorg log :
[ 4192.459] (II) RADEON(0): radeon_dri2_flip_event_handler:981 fevent[0x17e2360] width 1366 pitch 5632 (/4 1408)
[ 4193.043] (II) RADEON(0): radeon_dri2_schedule_flip:619 fevent[0x184a890]
My graphic card is a ATI Mobility™ Radeon™ HD5470, I use the radeon driver.
Does anyone know how to solve these problems ?

I think the game problem may be due to your video driver. The drivers for nvidia and ati are yet to updated to work with new x-org server.know nothing about the empathy problem because it is not in working state currently on my system.(problem with google-online-accounts)

I don't think, because my games were working perfectly just before the Gnome update. But if a radeon update can solve the problem, it's fine for me ^^

I have tested with Xorg and drivers in [testing], but the problem remains.
I think the new feature "Unredirect override-redirect fullscreen windows, such as full-screen 3D games to avoid any performance impact" is maybe responsible for my problems.
There is a way to disable it ?

Gnome-shell (or mutter) seems realy to be the source of my problems, i don't have any crash in fallback mode.

Even if my problem with Empathy is "solved" (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=660586 and https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/26229), gnome-shell continues to crash very often when I exit fullscreen games, and sometimes it crash even without doing anything special...
If I kill the gnome-shell process, the display is functional again, but it's very annoying.
Any ideas ?

Install xf86-video-ati-git from AUR has solved my problem.
