Dual Boot Question

I plan on dual booting Debian and Arch - /boot will be shared, but I plan on installing Arch first and skipping the grub install.

My question is: will grub2 pickup that arch is installed? (from the Debian install)

As long as you have /boot mounted and images created, it should.
