Hello.
I reinstalled - after removing it to be sure - libreoffice using "sudo pacman -S libreoffice".
Here is the list of packages :
[fred@fredo-arch ~]$ sudo pacman -S libreoffice
:: Il y a 11 membres dans le groupe libreoffice
:: Dépôt extra
1) libreoffice-base 2) libreoffice-calc 3) libreoffice-common
4) libreoffice-draw 5) libreoffice-gnome 6) libreoffice-impress
7) libreoffice-kde4 8) libreoffice-math 9) libreoffice-sdk
10) libreoffice-sdk-doc 11) libreoffice-writer
I selected everything but not libreoffice-kde4 (as I am using gnome).
Another choice is asked after that :
:: Il y a 2 provisions disponibles pour java-environment:
:: Dépôt testing
1) jdk7-openjdk
:: Dépôt extra
2) openjdk6
I choose jdk7-openjdk7 because of this message in arch-commits : http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/ … 47876.html
upgpkg: libreoffice 3.4.3-2
vigra rebuild; build with java7
But I when I launch it, no java environment are found.
Running it from terminal gave me this :
[fred@fredo-arch ~]$ soffice &
[1] 6296
[fred@fredo-arch ~]$ javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment!
Warning: failed to read path from javaldx
Libreoffice : 3.4.3-2
Java : jdk7-openjdk 7.b147_2.0-0.20110922.1
Any tips ?
Thanks.

Did you reboot? Nope, reboot doesn't fix it.
I too get this warning, but LibreOffice seems to work anyway (it starts up at least ;P)

"Solution": https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Li … und_Errors
Edit: I found out that creating /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre is enough not to get these warnings anymore.

Thanks for the tip. I will apply it asap. Have a good day.

Status? I would like to add this workaround to the wiki, but I'm not sure if it's working just for me.

I "downgraded" to openjdk6 for now.

Please check the new libreoffice version in testing. It should work with openjdk6 and jre7-openjdk. Not sure if closed Oracle jre7 from AUR will also get detected.

Thanks for the info. Yaourt -Syu will be my friend
Java7 is recognized, great. Too bad java web plugin could be blacklisted because of security matters.
