IIRC you don't get the logo if you're using KMS. Intel graphics require KMS (fox xorg-server).
Was the logo present in previous versions of linux-ck kernel?

I'm on an NVIDIA GPU with the binary driver; no KMS here AFAIK.

Yes, definitely.

I like it more without the logo.

I think you can use kernel boot line parameters to skip the logo:
logo.nologo

Cool, thx for the tip

It was... I finally dropped that option as pre-built into the repo packages.

I don't see it in the changelog https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Linux-ck/Changelog

You're right - I need to be more rigorous about keeping that contemporary. I back-filled it and it is now up-to-date.

I think that nvidia-ck-core2 deps are wrong. It wants to install linux-ck instead of linux-ck-core2.

Possibly same is true for nvidia-ck-corei7.

Thanks guys - you have discovered an error in my build script which I will fix later today. Meantime, I fixed the deps and refreshed the repo.
# pacman -Syy && pacman -Syu
You will probably get an error about not matching checksums so answer "y" to deleting the invalid package and run again. I will bump to -2 and rebuild later today.

Thanks for the packages. I was reading up on BFS, and this is actually (in all my years of Linux) the first time I've used a kernel with patches outside of "Normal Linux (TM)." Hehe. Anyway, I'm enjoying it so far, BFQ enabled. It's snappy. Thanks again.

Just by way of update, I'm waiting on ck to weigh in on which fix is more appripiate for bfs v0.413 + linux v0.314. See his blog for more details. Once he comments, I will patch accordingly and uild the repo packages.
