Anyone know why it fails to log in and then becomes successful and then fails and then becomes successful again and sometimes I have to run Pacman 2-3 times to fully download the packages?
Proceed with installation? [Y/n] y

Just try another mirror.
(It may be useful to uncomment two or three different ones (with your preferred mirror first) so that pacman can fallback on others if your first one is out).

Maybe the mirrors were temporarily down. You can check their status at https://www.archlinux.de/?page=MirrorStatus. Or, for more info, see http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mir … ror_status.

You can use rankmirrors and reflector to help you with the mirrors.
